To help you plan your finances for the coming year, please review this information on expenses other than tuition you will encounter at St. Pius X. Many of the following fees are optional. Please contact the moderator/coach as the information may change slightly during the year.  This information is also posted on the St. Pius X Business Office website at www.spx.org/businessoffice/other_expenses.html.
 
General Fees
Home & School Dues - $25 per family will be on your August book bill.
 

Parking Permit - Juniors and Seniors only - $60 per year

Juniors and Seniors will receive instructions regarding Parking Permits from the Dean of Students.

 
Re-enrollment Fee - $200/student $300/family (max.)
This fee is billed in March to returning 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. Fees received in the Business Office after the due date will incur a $50 late fee.
 
 
Books

BOOKS - The costs of books range from $350 - $550 per student (estimate)

Books are sold to students ONLY during their orientation day in August -NO EXCEPTIONS

Orientation days are considered school days and students are expected to be present.

Used textbooks (half price) are sold first until the supply is depleted, then new books are sold. Every effort has been made to maximize the number of used books. Books in good condition are turned in at the end of the school year for credit on the next year's book bill.

All book bills must be paid in full on the student's orientation day. Each student should bring a signed blank check made out to St. Pius X Catholic High School. Credit cards will NOT be accepted.

Advanced Placement Exam Fees - $80 per course - Paid at the time the student buys books during Orientation.

 
Uniforms

Students purchase their uniform skorts, pants and oxford shirts from Buckhead Uniforms.  Uniform polo shirts, overblouses, ties, game day shirts, sweaters and jackets are available only at the St. Pius Roar Store located on campus.

Used uniforms can be purchased at the school throughout the year from the Mothers' Club.

 

 
Other Course and Activity Fees

PHYSICAL EDUCATION FEE

Course fee: $5.00 per activity course

General P.E., Weight training, Team sports, Lifetime sports - Paid at the beginning of the semester. The fee will be used to repair/replace small equipment throughout the year.

Shorts $9

Students taking a Physical Education activity course are required to wear the St. Pius X P.E. uniform. These items are purchased from the Physical Education teachers during class. P.E. uniforms are not available in the St. Pius X Roar Store.

2-3 Days Trip to the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC includes airfare, 2 nights lodging, 1 dinner and Metro tickets $350

LIBRARY FINES

$.10 fine per day for each day a book is held past the due date.

Lost book charges are the price of the replacement book plus a processing fee of $5

Each student may print up to 100 pages from the library computer printers at no cost.  After that, there is a printing fee of $1.00 for every 20 printed pages.

SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM

Participation in individual tournaments: local is free; out of town $30

CAMPUS MINISTRY
