CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2007 REGION 6AAAA CHAMPS!!!

The 2007-2008 school year is the 9th year for St. Pius' competition cheerleading program. The Golden Lion Cheerleaders were the region 6AAAA champions in the 2006 year, and came in 16th in the state.  They qualified for the State Sectionals in the previous year, continuing the tradition of excellence in the program.  Our competition squads have made a trip to the state championship in 6 of the last 7 years of competition. The Golden Lions competition cheerleaders won the region 5-AAAA championships in the 2000-2001 and 2001-2002 seasons, and were region 5-AA runner up in 1999-2000.

The varsity competition squad is made up of 19 members, some of whom also cheer on out football and basketball spirit squads at all 3 levels: Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varisty.
