BIOGRAPHY

Earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Indiana University School of Music, Mr. Anastasio studied under the guidance of renowned classical guitarist Ernesto Bitetti. During his time at IU at Bloomington, he also studied with jazz guitarists David Biller, Bob Patterson, and Marcos Cavancante. Mr. Anastasio recently earned his M.A. degree in Music from Georgia State University . While there, he had the privilege to study under the tutelage of renowned guitar educator John Sutherland. He has been teaching at St. Pius since the fall of 2001.
